In May 2012, while on maternity leave with my youngest daughter, I made one of the best decisions of my life. I joined Usborne Books At Home.
A life-long fan of the books, I knew how fabulous they were and decided to give being an organiser a wee go. The added appeal of being able to help promote literacy in schools, nurseries and toddler groups while working around my many commitments, meant that it really was a no-brainer. I haven't looked back.
I am now a Divisional Leader having first promoted to Team Leader in November 2012 and I was Runner-Up in the top new organisers for 2012. An accolade I am tremendously proud of and one I put down to my passion for these books but also the amazing support from my division and the UBAH team. It's my business, my way but I have never felt alone and I am looking forward to seeing my business grow, year on year.
With two wee ones at home and a part-time teaching job, Usborne fits in perfectly. It truly is my dream job; there's nothing more I love than getting books into the hands of children through parties, events, schools, nurseries and more. And these are THE very best around!
