Reader reviews

Gorgeous pictures!
I'm an atheist but I found this a lovely book for my 9 year old to read with me to learn the stories that have had such an impact on Western Civilisation. The pictures are colourful and truly outstanding. It presents the more violent stories in such a way that they are not too disturbing for children. The stories are short and easy to read and clearly divided up so you can dip into and out of the book. I'd highly recommend this lovely book to both Christians, and those who would like their kids to have a grounding in the most well known stories of the Old and New Testaments.
